Formula
Corpus is the future value of your monthly contributions at the expected return. Annuity corpus = corpus ร annuity %. Monthly pension = annuity corpus ร annuity rate รท 12. Lump sum = corpus โ annuity corpus.
Example
โน5,000 a month from age 30 to 60 at 10% grows to a large corpus; putting 40% into an annuity at 6% funds a monthly pension, and the remaining 60% is a tax-free lump sum.
